What is Volley Squadra?

Volley Squadra is a fantasy manager game for the Belgian volleyball competition. You assemble a team of real volleyball players and earn points based on their performances in real matches.

The game combines your volleyball knowledge with strategic team management for a unique gaming experience.

Is Volley Squadra free?

Yes, Volley Squadra is completely free to play. You only need to create an account to get started.

The game is made by volleyball fans for volleyball fans, with the goal of making the sport even more fun to follow.

How do I build a team?

A complete team consists of 12 players. You select players from different teams in the Belgian competition.

Pay attention to positions and ensure a balanced distribution. Each matchday you choose from these 12 players a lineup of 7 players who actually score points.

How do I set up my lineup?

For each matchday you choose from your 12 players a lineup of 7 players who are active. Only these 7 players earn points.

You can adjust your lineup until the matchday is closed. Choose strategically which players you deploy!

How does the point system work?

Players earn points based on their performance in real matches: serves, aces, attacks, blocks, and more.

The match result also affects the points. Only the 7 players in your active lineup earn points for your team.

How do I win the game?

Your goal is to collect the most points throughout the entire season. There is a ranking that shows your position relative to other managers.

Strategic team management, good transfers and setting up the right lineup each week are the keys to success!

Can I still join if the season has already started?

Yes! You can create a team and participate in Volley Squadra at any time during the season.

You will start from the current matchday, which means you can no longer earn points for legs that have already been completed. Your total score will therefore be lower than managers who have been playing from the beginning.

Despite the disadvantage, you can still compete per matchday and gain valuable experience for future seasons!

Can I swap players?

Yes! You can make transfers between matchdays. Please note: restrictions may apply such as a maximum number of transfers per matchday or transfer costs.

You can adjust your lineup of 7 players each matchday without costs, as long as the leg has not yet been closed.

What are legs and how do they work?

The season is divided into legs (matchdays). A leg can contain multiple real matches.

For each leg, you need to finalize your lineup of 7 players before the leg closes. After closing, points are calculated based on the played matches.

We will do our best to resolve technical problems as quickly as possible and help you further.

Why might a player have an incorrect position?

We start with the basic positions as we received them from the volleyball federation. This information is used as a starting point for all players in the system.

We are currently setting up a system to capture structural position changes on our platform. This means that if a player regularly plays in a different position than their registered base position, we will be able to automatically detect and adjust this in the future.
